A plain statement of where Pindrop stores your data, how AI features handle it, and the controls available to your organisation.

Where your data lives
Your data is stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database hosted in AWS eu-west-2 (London, United Kingdom). It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted at rest by the database provider. Uploaded files and presentation assets are stored on Vercel's file storage, also in London, United Kingdom.
AI and your data
Pindrop's AI features are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. API inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models.
Organisations can bring their own Anthropic API key — or an enterprise gateway endpoint — so that AI usage runs under their own account and controls. This is the BYOK option in Settings → Integrations.
Semantic search (AskEX) runs on Supabase infrastructure in AWS eu-west-1 (Ireland).

Optional integrations
Pindrop can connect to Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Typeform and Notion. Data flows to or from these services only if your organisation chooses to connect them.
Your controls
- Workspace tenancy — your organisation's data is scoped to its own workspace.
- Data export — you can export your data.
- Deletion on request — we delete your organisation's data when you ask us to.
- Bring your own key — run AI features under your own Anthropic account via Settings → Integrations.
