September 2026

  1. Improved

Sign-offs tied to the exact version approved

When you request a sign-off, Pindrop now records the exact version of each item in scope, from questionnaires and campaigns to analyses, presentations, action plans and documents. If any of them changes before the decision, the sign-off can't be completed and a new one has to be requested against the current versions. The project page and the project portal show what was approved and flag any newer version, and the downloadable decision record lists the versions signed.

  2. New

Reuse an organisation's saved import mapping

Save the column mapping you set up for an organisation's survey export, then choose it again when their next file arrives. Pindrop matches columns by their exact names and tells you what doesn't match, rather than guessing.

  3. Improved

Start the next cycle with last time's results

"Start next cycle" now brings the previous wave's results and mappings into the new cycle for comparison, alongside a draft copy of the questionnaire, so you only need to upload this cycle's export. Before the waves are compared, Pindrop lists any items that appear in only one wave and asks you to confirm.

  4. Improved

    Security and reliability improvements

We have made security and reliability improvements across Pindrop. There is nothing you need to do.

  5. Improved

A simpler home screen, and wording for in-house teams

The home screen now suggests one piece of work in progress to continue, followed by four common jobs, and the navigation shows the main steps in order with everything else under More. An admin can also tell Pindrop whether your workspace listens for clients or for your own organisation, and Pindrop adjusts its wording to match.

  6. Fixed

More reliable slide previews and PDF downloads

Slide previews now appear for larger presentations instead of timing out, and "Download PDF" produces the designed PDF rather than opening your browser's print window. Where the designed PDF or PowerPoint is a shorter summary rather than the full deck, its button now says how many slides it contains.

August 2026

  1. New

Actions from any results, and "You said / we did" updates

Harvest a WOOP (a wish, outcome, obstacle and plan, with a review date) from a finding in any analysis, including results imported from another survey tool, and export your actions to CSV or Excel for your own tracker. Build a "You said / we did" note for colleagues from those actions, then download it or copy it into your own communications. If you open another census or pulse before the last one has a completed action plan or a published note, Pindrop asks you to record why.

  2. New

AskEX can answer from a single set of results

AskEX has a new "This file" mode: choose a campaign or an analysis and ask what it shows. Answers cite the questions and quotations in that file, and the same anonymity thresholds as your dashboards apply.

  3. New

Presentations in the organisation's own template and words

Save an organisation's PowerPoint master once and new presentations use it by default, though you can still choose another for a single pack. Set the usual audience, from the board to all staff, and it carries through to new packs. Record the organisation's own terms in its lexicon, such as "colleague" rather than "employee", and Pindrop uses them in questionnaires, analysis, dashboards and presentations.

  4. New

Organisation context that shapes the plan

Record the facts that shape listening at an organisation, from the executive sponsor and the survey platform it already uses to works council, union and data-protection requirements and its capacity to act. Strategy recommendations, and Pindrop's AI suggestions for questionnaires and summaries of results, now take these into account. A readiness gauge on each organisation shows what is still missing.

  5. New

A live calendar for each listening strategy

Each listening strategy now has a twelve-month calendar, also shown on the organisation's page, with planned channels, fielding dates, response rates where known, open and closed actions, and any overlapping pulses from other providers. Each channel can be started straight from the strategy as an ingest, a campaign or a workshop, depending on who fields it.

  6. New

Dashboards from imported results, and two frameworks side by side

You can now build dashboards from results imported from another survey tool, and pulling results from Qualtrics brings in respondents' demographic and team details. You can also analyse the same answers against two frameworks, such as the organisation's own model and a research model, and switch between them in analysis, dashboards, exports and presentations.

  7. New

Analyse the survey results you already have

Start an analysis straight from an organisation's existing survey export with "New from their export" on its page, and add last year's workbook to compare trends.

  8. Improved

Sort results tables from the keyboard

Sortable tables in analysis results and survey responses now work with the keyboard as well as the mouse, and the responses table tells screen readers how it is sorted.

  9. New

Privacy policy and terms of use on the website

Our privacy policy and terms of use are now published on the website and linked from its footer, alongside the Trust & data page. The Trust & data page sets out where Pindrop stores your data, how AI features handle it, the subprocessors involved and the controls available to your organisation.
